The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Google Maps
This site uses the mapping service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

5. Data Processing in the Application Process
This section of the privacy policy informs you about how we collect, process, and use your personal data as part of the online application process.
If you apply electronically – via email, our web form, or a job portal (e.g., StepStone, Indeed) – we collect and process your personal data to carry out the application process, prepare contractual measures, and, if applicable, establish an employment relationship.
In particular, the following personal data is collected:
- Master data (such as first name, last name, name suffixes, nationality)
- Contact data (private address, telephone number, email address)
- Application data (such as CV, certificates, references)
- Optional: XING profile, LinkedIn profile
As well as other personal data that you provide to us during your application and the selection process – for example, in phone calls or interviews. This may also include special categories of personal data such as health data.

If no suitable position is available at the time of your application, we may include the personal data you provided during the entire application process in our talent pool after the process is completed. Your data may be used to consider you for future job postings, contact you, inform you about events, and send you follow-up emails on birthdays and holidays. You can give separate consent for this use.
If you are also suitable for positions other than the one you originally applied for, your application may be forwarded to other departments for review. You can give separate consent for this transfer.
In the event of an employment relationship being established, we process the following data in addition to the previously mentioned data:

- Tax identification number

- Religious affiliation
- Marital status
- Parental status

Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and all other relevant data protection laws.
The primary purpose of data processing is to review your application and decide on the establishment of an employment relationship with you. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26(1) BDSG.
In addition, your separate consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a), 7 GDPR in conjunction with § 26(2) BDSG may be used as a legal basis for data protection.
In the event of an employment relationship being established, we continue to process your data to fulfill our legal obligations as an employer. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG. In this case, you will be comprehensively informed about the processing of your data through a separate data protection policy.
Furthermore, processing of your personal data may be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR if it is necessary to protect legitimate interests of us or third parties (e.g., authorities).
Special categories of personal data (e.g., health data) pursuant to Art. 9(1) GDPR are only processed if necessary for exercising rights or fulfilling legal obligations in the field of labor law, social security law, or health protection. This is based on Art. 9(2)(b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26(3) BDSG. The processing of your health data may also be necessary to assess your ability to work. In this case, it is based on Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with § 22(1)(b) BDSG. Data Storage
Your data will be stored for up to 6 months after the completion of the application process. After that, only anonymized data for purely statistical purposes (e.g., total number of applications, etc.) will be stored, which does not allow identification of your person. Your data will be stored in the talent pool for up to one year after you have given your consent and the application process has been completed. In the event of an employment relationship being established, we store the personal data collected during the application process for at least the duration of the employment relationship.
To Whom Do We Transfer Your Personal Data?
Your personal data is only shared with those individuals and departments who need it to fulfill the purposes mentioned above (e.g., departments, HR department, payroll). In addition, your data is partially processed by external service providers as part of data processing on behalf (e.g., via the applicant management system of d.vinci HR-Systems GmbH).
