The CapWatcher Compact from INTRAVIS combines a sorting, feeding and inspection unit for the quality control of plastic caps and closures in a single, compact solution. Based on numerous discussions with our customers, the system addresses one of the biggest problems in modern production facilities - available space!

The CapWatcher Compact saves up to 50% of floor space compared to conventional solutions while maintaining INTRAVIS' well-known quality promise. It combines three previously separate elements of the plastic closure production line - sorting, feeding and inspection - in one compact housing, without compromising on functionality or inspection quality.

The CapWatcher Compact is able to inspect the typical elements on the inside and outside of the tethered cap that are connected to the cap.

Based on the large amount of data collected by the CapWatcher Compact, you can adjust individual cavities instead of the entire mold. In addition, new resins and masterbatches can be introduced quickly and easily and material fatigue can be detected at an early stage. Necessary maintenance work can also be better planned.

In addition, the inspection software offers comprehensive statistics, diagrams and reports based on the collected data. In combination with trend and analysis software such as our IntraVisualizer, this makes it possible to identify potential for optimization or to react in good time to undesirable trends, such as an emerging deviation in the geometry of the closures.
