FAQs about the Product Setup Service

  • To ensure we can get started on time, we need:

    • Technical data: Drawings and photos of the product to be set up.
    • Test samples: A sufficient number of good parts, defective parts, and challenge parts (test samples used to verify classification accuracy).
    • Infrastructure: A stable remote connection via TeamViewer..
     
  • An operator must be available at the system who:

    • Can physically operate the system.
    • Can feed parts through the system for the testing process.
    • Can specify why a part is classified as “bad” or “good.”
  • We estimate approximately 2 hours per product for the actual setup on the system. Including preparation and documentation, the total time required is limited to a maximum of 4 hours.
    • Preparation: The technician reviews the documentation and prepares for setup in accordance with the system specifications.
    • System Check: Before setup, we check the focus, aperture, and lighting, as well as external factors (external light, dirt, wear).
    • Setup: Configuration of the modules, test runs with your samples, and fine-tuning.
    • Training if needed: Brief training for your staff on the new product.
  • We will provide you with a complete set of documentation consisting of:

    • A detailed summary report, including screenshots.
    • A backup of the product data set as a .zip file.
  • Yes. We provide 48-hour “on-call” support after the setup is complete. During our business hours, we are available for minor adjustments. 

    The service includes a total of 30 minutes for adjustments. Support that exceeds this time limit or is requested after the 48-hour period has expired will be billed at our current hourly rates.
