Strengthening Service Excellence Worldwide
Exceptional service is built on expertise, experience, and close collaboration. To further strengthen its global service organization, INTRAVIS recently welcomed international service specialists to its headquarters in Aachen, Germany, for the annual International Service Meeting.
For one week, colleagues and consultants from the United States, Indonesia, Turkey, Spain, Morocco, and Germany came together to exchange experiences, expand their technical knowledge, and strengthen the relationships that support seamless collaboration across regions. Bringing the international team together on a regular basis ensures that customers around the world benefit from consistent service standards and shared expertise.
The training program covered a broad range of topics, including spare parts management, software solutions, and practical workshops. Particular attention was given to the latest developments and prototype systems that showcase technologies currently being prepared for future market introduction. By working with these innovations at an early stage, service specialists gain valuable hands-on experience long before the solutions reach customers. This early involvement enables the team to better understand future applications, anticipate potential challenges, and provide knowledgeable support from the very beginning.
A particular highlight of the week was a visit to a customer production site, where participants were able to observe one of these emerging technologies operating under real production conditions. Seeing a new solution perform in a live manufacturing environment offered valuable insights that go far beyond a training setting. It allowed the team to evaluate real-world requirements, discuss practical observations, and gain a deeper understanding of how new technologies can create value in everyday production.
Beyond the technical program, the meeting provided an important platform for exchanging experiences gathered in different industries, markets, and customer environments. Discussions around best practices, service processes, and customer interactions helped participants learn from one another and further strengthen the global service network.
“The exchange between our international colleagues once again demonstrated how important a strong global service network is to our success,” said Stefan Lennartz, Head of Commissioning External at INTRAVIS. “Alongside technical training, sharing experiences and best practices was a key focus throughout the week. The motivation, dedication, and team spirit shown by all participants make us proud and contribute significantly to the confidence our customers place in the quality and expertise of INTRAVIS worldwide.”
For customers, the benefits of this investment are clear. Whether through on-site service, 24/7 support, remote assistance, or product setup services, they can rely on specialists who combine local presence with the expertise of a global organization. Continuous training, close international cooperation, and early exposure to new technologies ensure that INTRAVIS remains a trusted partner throughout the entire lifecycle of its inspection solutions.
Outside the training sessions, participants also spent time together exploring Aachen and continuing conversations in a more informal setting. These shared experiences help strengthen the personal connections that are essential for effective collaboration within a team that is normally spread across multiple countries and time zones.
The International Service Meeting reflects INTRAVIS’ ongoing commitment to service excellence. By investing in its people and preparing them for the technologies of tomorrow, INTRAVIS ensures that customers worldwide receive the expert support they expect today and in the future.
